Fueled by a passion for watching what the human body is physically capable of, I became a trainer in 2011 after a few years working in the tech industry. I grew up a gymnast, then turned to dance, joined the dance team at the University of Colorado and that lead to the chance to coach both high school and college dance.
After realizing the juxtaposition of the confining nature of a corporate job, with the inspiring nature of building physical strength, I decided to make a career out of coaching others to feel strong and capable. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide array of clients, but what I love the most are the clients who want to work hard toward a goal. I’ve helped clients learn everything from a freestanding handstand, to lifting and moving a barbell effectively, regaining muscle strength and function after injury, to losing 30+ lbs in preparation for a big life event.
When I am not training clients you can find me training my own barbell skills with Olympic lifts, crossfitting, cooking dinners with my daughter and husband, gardening, or enjoying an evening out at the Boulder Cork.
