For the month of November, we’re hosting a food drive for Harvest of Hope Pantry. Harvest of Hope opened its doors in 2012 with the mission to “provide healthy supplemental food to Boulder families and individuals in need of food assistance within a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment.”
A Few Stats
- 1 in 10 people in Boulder and Broomfield Counties experience food insecurity
- They are the only food pantry in Boulder that serves everyone who comes to the door
- They aim to provide a shopping experience that allows everyone to leave with a daily amount of supplemental food to fill the gap that other services are unable to offer
- In 2022, Harvest of Hope distributed 312,668 pounds of food, had 14,138 shopping visits, and hosted 9,704 volunteer hours
If you’re able, please consider a donation this month! Drop your non-perishable, healthy food and personal hygiene items off in the bin that we have in the lobby of the office. For a full list of the most-requested items, visit their website HERE.
